Medieval Weddings – Your own Knights in Shining Armour on Horseback

Your very own Knights in Shining Armour on Horseback for your big day.

We have been very fortunate through the years to provide many a Knight on Horseback for many a wedding.  Perfect for medieval themed weddings as well as more modern weddings and family orientated weddings, our gorgeous brides have enjoyed arriving in style on horseback escorted by Knights as a spectacular arrival and guests have been entertained with stunning, action-packed Jousting Tournaments (the groomsmen and bridesmaids even having to do forfeits if their Champions loose).  From Bolton Castle, to Ripon and down to Hampton Court Castle and the Devon Lakes, we travel nationally and enjoy every moment of making your big day even more magical and making you feel like the most important person in the world.

Options Include:

Arriving on horseback escorted by Knights.  Either parading through the streets while passers by lavish you with attention or simply keeping it secret and amazing your guests when you make your grand entrance.

Knights on Horseback for Meet and Greet.  When guests first arrive they are greeted by Knights in Shining Armour on Horseback who are available for photographs and can perform choreographed displays including sword fights.

Full Medieval Entertainment, including Jousting Tournaments with two, four or six horses, a medieval court, sword fights and meet and greet.  For fully themed medieval weddings and also for those looking for entertainment during venue changeovers (from dining to dancefloor), our displays can last 20 to 45 minutes, with meet and greet continuing beyond that.

Why The Cavalry of Heroes?

With years of experience being professional horse stunt and trick riders, our Knights are here to make your day as enjoyable as possible.  Our horses are all trained performance horses, and our admin support ensure that venues are suitable and that everything runs smoothly from when you first enquire to the end of your big day.

Working with horses is our profession but also our life.  We are fully insured and we love our horses so do everything we can to make sure that they are looked after and love their work through out the year.  This means that they shine on the day and allow you to shine along with them.Medieval Knights at Wedding from The Cavalry of Heroes

Marie Antoinette Bridal Shoot

We are very privileged to have been invited to take part in Ellis’s (Aisle Hire It) Marie Antoinette Bridal photo-shoot recently.  The images testify to the creative and artistic brilliance of this lady, as it was a stunning set-up.  Bride Magazine thought so as well and wrote up an excellent piece on the shoot where Ellis talks in detail about the theme, colours and how it was all achieved.  We’ve put some sneak peaks of the pictures below, but recommend that you pop over to Aisle Hire It‘s page for more details and for a full list of all the contributors.

PS.  In case you didn’t recognise him, it’s our beloved Asgard in the pictures, with his model for the day, sporting one of our distinguished military uniforms.

The Herefordshire Wedding Awards – We Won!

Herefordshire Wedding Awards 2015 Winner LogoWe are so delighted to have won Best Newcomer at The Herefordshire Wedding Awards at the end of September.  Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how thankful we are to everyone who voted for us; it was a complete surprise and an honour.  Thank you.

The evening was full of surprises and fun at the Fair, with a big thank you going to Wendy Head who worked so hard to put on such a fantastic evening.

Unfortunately Marc wasn’t able to join us for the evening as he was working, so Rob very kindly stepped in to help and played the part of Circus Master very well.  Jess also kindly helped us by looking after Asgard for the evening while we were taking part in the awards.

Asgard enjoyed his time, as always, and was as good as gold.  He was even enchanted by the wonderful fire juggler, wanting to get as close as he could to the action.

Latest Photoshoot – Gemma Williams Photography

We were delighted and very privileged to be asked to work with Gemma Williams   (www.gemmawilliamsphotography.co.uk) on her most recent photoshoot.

Curioso Maximus White Andalusian Horse wedding photoshoot

Curisoso Maximus looked as beautiful as ever and took his best friend Asgard along with him to enjoy the scenery.

Jen (www.jennifersdressingtable.co.uk) worked her magic on the model’s hair and make-up, and the custom made dress and lovely flowers (www.thegreatbritishflorist.co.uk) looked marvellous.

The whole shoot told a story and was brilliantly captured by Gemma.  A wonderful day and some stunning images:

All our horses are available to hire for photoshoots, as well as being excellent horseback riding teachers.  Take a look at our website for more information.

Latest Wedding Photoshoot – Hampton Court Castle

It was such a privilege to be involved recently in the Fairytale Luxe Photoshoot, taking part in one of the most stunning venues I can imagine: Hampton Court Castle in Hope-Under-Dinmore.  Organised by Diva Wedding and Events: the photographer on the day was Martha May showing as always her exceptional talent in capturing the perfect moment.   I’m sure you will agree that the dresses (Ashton Rose Bridal Centre),  suits (Bill Child Formal Wear) hair (Amy Bemand Hairdressing), make-up (Natasha Louise), accessories (Mason Blue Designs and Pleasance and Harper) and venue look mesmerising.  Below is just a small sample of the excellent photos from the day which featured our lovely Asgard and Curioso Maximus.

Curioso is booked for his next photoshoot this month and the other boys are starting to get a bit jealous.  So look out for our Medieval Photoshoot staring our very own Guinness – coming soon!
