Countryside Arena Demos
Informative Demos of our magical world of horsemanship and theatre
Here are The Cavalry of Heroes we have a lifelong mission to improve the lives of performing horses across the UK through education and leading by example. Our countryside arena demos showcase how we compassionately train our horses for live shows, film and tv, through informative but fun, action filled displays suitable for small countryside arenas.
Working together with The Everyday Horseman Marc Lovatt we also offer countryside arena demos on building sustainability back into our planet through the teaching of traditional horsemanship skills for everyday life. From carriage driving and agricultural work with horses for a sustainable future, to trick riding and jousting demonstrations for a bit of fun; all with a focus on compassionately training horses to want to partner in the adventure.
The everyday power of a harnessed horse
Demonstrating with Marc’s own horses, the past, present and future of driving horses, from carriage driving and travel to agricultural work. Marc’s creatively action packed but thoughtful display explores with the audience the traditional skill of driving a horse and carriage and his training methods. The display conveys lots of information about the history of horse drawn carriages and their uses in travel and agriculture, as well as looking at the present day applications of the harnessed horse with a focus on the advances of horse welfare and the benefits of how working with horses and green sciences offers a solution to reducing CO2 emmissions. Designed as a fun look at how harnessed horses can, with modern understanding, become a part of everyday life again.
