Sulgrave Manor Medieval Jousting Show for a Sweet Medieval Wedding

Love was in the air last weekend at dreamy Sulgrave Manor Medieval Jousting Show.  It was like being in a fairy-tale all weekend, as two Knights on horseback jousted in celebration of a Wedding Day, in this fabulously themed event.  Visitors were officially welcomed to the event by the Mayor with his Knights as his guards of honour.  There was so much going on and so well thought out that the day was just beautiful.

The Knights performed under the trees in the romantic back garden and met with lots of adoring fans, including many dressed up as Knights and Princesses themselves.  It was our Golden Knight who jousted against Sir Edwin (the Groom) in this joyful show before the Dark Knight made his appearance just as the skies darkened.

But there was no rain on this wedding day (except The Dark Knight getting his just desserts!) just glorious sunshine and lots of happy faces at Sulgrave Manor Medieval Jousting Show.

I’m still smiling over such a beautiful day.  Thank you to the lovely organisers who made us feel so at home, to the local fish and chip shop for such a splendid meal and the medieval re-enactors who bought the venue alive.  And a big congratulations also to the couple who got married at the pub down the road the night before!  Big smiles all round!
